In memoriam..

What doesn't kill you ultimately makes you stronger.

I think this quote has never sounded so strong as it does now. I am definitely being tested on all levels.
It's a quarter past 2 and I am not really sleepy, mind has been everywhere. Still feeling the loss from Stephanie's passing.

I strongly believe she wants nothing but the best from everyone, from the time I have known her.

She was incredibly kind hearted, spunky and very loved by her students, family and friends.

I've told her everything.. my hopes and dreams, we shared so many ARC pictures and she was looking forward to my book haul pics all the time.

We shared some sort of connection beyond books. It was weird, like when a teenager has a crush on a classmate. But it never went further. It never materialized. I was kind of her "Canadian beau lol".

Anyways kiddo... I'll keep being me, and you keep smiling up there.

We'll meet again in the great library in the sky. Someday.

"It is not length of life - but depth of life". Ralph Waldo Emerson.

I haven't been on here in forever.. times have been crazy here. So far we've been less than a week into April and the whole month has been all over.

I have an autism conference in Ottawa, another radio interview and a few appointments in between. I got to practise a bit more time management so I can get myself back into order.

Maas-ive book hangover!

What an absolutely awesome time!!!

I'm finally able to do a quick update re the Sarah J Maas signing that we (me and Aphonic Sarah) attended on May 21st at Indigo Sherway (Etobicoke, ON).

I don't think I will ever forget this. It's been an absolutely AMAZING experience - one I will definitely cherish.

What a weekend.

I'm just posting a quick post as I am wrapping up the Sarah J Maas signing at the Indigo at Sherway Gardens - Etobicoke, ON.

WHAT A WEEKEND! I'm still suffering from book mania hangover. It's been amazing.

I have a few ideas I am working on going forward with the blog - and I hope to implement these sooner than later.

Dedication or insanity?

We have been out in line since 330am for a chance to meet Sarah J Maas. It's almost 6am and we have maybe 50 to 75 people in line. Absolutely fantastic...

Just a quick snippet.

Hey folks,

It's been a crazy long time since I last posted - and I've been crazily busy with work and getting things back into order.

Hope to be blogging again soon -- so far I've been reading:

Strange The Dreamer -  Laini Taylor
A Crown Of Wishes -  Roshani Chokshi
Defy The Stars - Claudia Gray

We all know April/May comes very crazy for book releases but we're trudging along slowly but surely :)

New Year's Rezzy

Dusting out the virtual cobwebs of my blog..

It's been way too long since I posted something to my blog - and I am WELL overdue...  The last remaining months of 2016 have been hectic and crazy work and personal life wise, and I am slowly readjusting to a normal schedule and lifestyle.

I hope to be a bit more active on the blog with YA issues and mental health / autism awareness / life as an Aspie as time goes. I've got a few things up my virtual sleeve so to say.

I guess one step at a time - I'm still relatively new at this blogging thing :-P
